Truth is the Best Weapon/It's Just Too Damn Easy--Ron Paul's Voting Record

Here is your candidate folks:
Protecting Our Children Comes First Act of 2007 - Amends the Missing Children's Assistance Act to reauthorize through FY2013, and revise requirements for uses of, the annual grant to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children by the Administrator of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Deliquency Prevention.
Result: Passed, 408-3, with 20 not voting.
Ron Paul's Vote: NO, why? He wants no government whatsoever. Including the parts of government that help find missing children. Nice work there, buddy.

Securing Adolescents From Exploitation-Online Act of 2007 or the SAFE Act of 2007 - Amends the federal criminal code to expand the reporting requirements of electronic communication and remote computing service providers (service providers) with respect to violations of child sexual exploitation and pornography laws. Requires such service providers, in reporting violations of such laws to the CyberTipline of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (Center) to provide: (1) information on the Internet identity of a suspected sex offender, including the electronic mail address, website address, uniform resource locator, or other identifying information; (2) the time child pornography was uploaded or discovered; (3) geographic location information for the offender; and (4) images of such child pornography. Requires the Center to forward each report which it receives from a service provider to a designated law enforcement agency. Requires service providers to preserve images of child pornography for evidentiary purposes. Authorizes the Center to provide images of child pornography reported to its CyberTipline to service providers to enable such providers to stop further transmissions of of pornographic images. Grants service providers and the Center immunity from civil claims or criminal charges for complying the requirements of this Act, except for certain intentional or reckless misconduct.
Result: Passed, 409-2, with 20 not voting.
Mr. Paul? NO. It's just too easy folks. This guy is a real piece of shit.

H R 1495 Vote description: Water Resources Development Act To provide for the conservation and development of water and related resources, to authorize the Secretary of the Army to construct various projects for improvements to rivers and harbors of the United States, and for other purposes.
Result: Passed, 361-54, with 17 not voting.
Ron Paul: NO So, if you want some drinking water in your future, you better buy a piece of land with a bigass aquifer because Paul is NOT a Republican, but rather a TOTAL LIBERTARIAN, WHICH MEANS HE DOESN'T WANT ANY GOVERNMENT. I find this amusing. Someone wanting to be in charge of something that won't exist if he has his way. So, again, if you want water, bridges, etc. you have to take care of that yourself. Real nice nominee.

H R 2095: Federal Railroad Safety Improvement Act To amend title 49, United States Code, to prevent railroad fatalities, injuries, and hazardous materials releases, to authorize the Federal Railroad Safety Administration, and for other purposes.
Result: Passed, 377-38, with 16 not voting.
Once again: Paul NO. He doesn't care about you. He only cares about himself. Getting it yet?

Now the above voting record is just an example. These votes occurred since 10/07!! Imagine how many times this man has said no to you and your children! This also doesn't include the times he didn't bother voting at all.

Ron Paul has missed 290 votes (25.6%) during the current Congress.

When I went to check how many he has missed in total, it went on for pages and pages. Not sure what is worse, someone who doesn't do their job, or someone who does it so poorly you wish they didn't show up.

The above examples were the votes that he went against BOTH party lines, as they were united as those bills were THAT FUCKING OBVIOUS. So, go ahead, idiots. Vote for a guy who lies about his party affiliation to get votes, who doesn't vote 1/4 of the time, and when he does, it is against your best interests. I'm not going to waste my vote on someone crazy, thank you very much. LRWB
