USA, Torturer

"The director of the Central Intelligence Agency, General Michael Hayden, briefed members of Congress Tuesday about the CIA's decision to destroy videotapes of terror suspect interrogations. His appearance on Capitol Hill comes as a former CIA officer says interrogators had used the simulated drowning technique known as waterboarding, which he believes amounts to torture."

"The prisoner is bound to an inclined board, feet raised and head slightly below the feet. Cellophane is wrapped over the prisoner's face and water is poured over him. Unavoidably, the gag reflex kicks in and a terrifying fear of drowning leads to almost instant pleas to bring the treatment to a halt. According to the sources, CIA officers who subjected themselves to the water boarding technique lasted an average of 14 seconds before caving in. They said al Qaeda's toughest prisoner, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, won the admiration of interrogators when he was able to last between two and two-and-a-half minutes before begging to confess. 'The person believes they [sic] are being killed, and as such, it really amounts to a mock execution, which is illegal under international law,' said John Sifton of Human Rights Watch."
[Take a look at the list on ABC News, it is much more than just waterboarding]:

Hmmmmmmmmm, ya think?????
So, don't you think then that if someone is DEMANDING you admit to doing a crime, ANY crime, you would admit to it, whether or not it is true just to make it end? This technique is solely for the sickos in Washington/sickos in the military to get a woody. There is no real use for this. If these people were to be tried, how could the admissions be allowed under these circumstances? It is just for shits and giggles for the sick.
When did we become the ones who torture? This is so appalling!! If you are able to catch a glimpse of a tape that was shown this week on TV, (must have been some other time we tortured someone since the ones they are speaking of were destroyed) maybe it is also on YouTube by now-- it is unbelievable. I do not understand how one person can do something like this to another. Much less someone who represents the country that USED TO be the one that helped those who were being tortured. I want war crimes trials. It will be time for Nuremberg trials after we take the White House back.

One good thing: no statute of limitations for war crimes. Get ready to take it up the ass AGAIN Bush. You hypocrite. For those NOT in the know check out this website: http://www.leolamcconnell.com/
She gave it to him, and him, if you get my drift.
